Wednesday Community Classes
Volunteering at West Village
West Village works because families help build it. Every parent's time, whether on-site during class days or behind the scenes, is what keeps our program running smoothly, safely, and warmly for all our kids.

Who volunteers, and how much
-
Families enrolled in 1–2 classes are not required to volunteer and don't need to stay on campus during class time — though you're always welcome to!
-
Families enrolled in 3 or more classes are asked to volunteer two days per semester during the time your child is on campus, plus 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after. Volunteering will include helping with check-in/check-out, setup, or cleanup.
If your volunteer day doesn't work
Life happens! If you're assigned a volunteer day and can't make it, you have two options:
-
Find a substitute to cover your spot using our Parent Directory / BAND app, or
-
Pay a $100 missed volunteer day fee
Opting out for the semester
If ongoing on-site volunteering isn't realistic for your family this semester, you can opt out of the requirement entirely for a $200 semester fee.

Not able to volunteer on-site, but still want to help?
-
We'd still love to have you! Our Volunteer Crew is a flexible way to contribute — from home or in smaller bursts — through things like classroom prep, event support, or sharing skills and connections. [Sign up here →]
